Thompson family members and other guests share memories of early logging and sawmill industry days. The recent hardbound reprint edition, The House of Thompson: Lone Star Pine, first printed by "The American Lumberman" in 1907, has over 90 pages of rare photos and text including pictures of virgin pine forests, logging activities, rail transportation and sawmills.
