| Description |
Five major exhibit areas feature the first 10,000 years of settlement
in Northeast Texas, from the Archeology exhibit of Indian artifacts
to our Famous Northeast Texas People, and the live, working recreation
of the Depot's telegraph station. The history of a variety of industries
in Texas including forestry and the impact of the railroad on the
timber industry is also represented.
