Historicial Development: The H. L. Williams Lumber Company at Daingerfield is listed in the 1957 Directory of Wood-Using and Related Industries in East Texas. The Directory of Texas Manufacturers 1956-1958 noted that the Williams Lumber Company of Daingerfield had been established in 1937, employing less than fifty workers to manufacture pine and hardwood lumber. It was still listed in 1960.
