Bill Pritchard

According to John Hanes' unpublished manuscript, Bill Pritchard established a cotton gin in the area of Queen City about the turn of the century. A sawmill was added. A short time later, a fire destroyed the mills and killed a night watchman. The gin was rebuilt and operated until 1924.
