Hryhorchuk Lumber Company
Hryhorchuk Lumber Company, according to The Jacksonville Journal in 1947, began sawmilling in 1946 as the Bery & Hryhorchuk Lumber Company in 1946 at Deweyville. Fred L. Hryhorchuk bought out his partner on May 1, 1947. His small operation was using fifteen to twenty men to harvest and mill the timber on thirty acres owned by Hryhorchuk. Logging equipment included one truck and two teams.
