H.G. Bohlssen

The Southern Industrial and Lumber Review reported in August 1915 that the Bohlssen mill at Jasper was closed down and that Bohlssen was busy installing a new plant at New Caney. The H.G. Bohlssen mill at Jasper cut hardwoods exclusively. The mill appeared in a 1915 directory of sawmills as having a daily cutting capacity of 20,000 feet. The mill could furnish rough and dressed boards and timbers up to 28 feet.
