F. G. Mixon operated the Esta Lumber Company at Dayton. The company, named after Mixon's wife, was located on land leased from Peoples Lumber Company; since Mixon cut hardwood, no competition existed between the two companies. The Arkansas Oak Flooring Company was located next to Mixon's and bought nearly the entire cut.
