N. C. Edens Lumber Company

In 1946, the Edens-Birch sawmill plant at Corrigan was leased to Corrigan Lumber Company (Jim Ben Edens, Sam Crawford, and H. V. Kiley), who also then bought Cleveland Manufacturing Company, another W. F. Edens' firm. Corrigan Lumber Company, with firms at Corrigan and Cleveland, was directed by Jim Ben Edens, president and manager at Corrigan; Sam Crawford, manager at Cleveland; and H. V. Kiley, of Houston.
In 1948, the Woodworkers International Union (CIO) lost an organizing vote at Cleveland: fifty-three to thirty-eight, of 105 eligible voters.
It was not listed in any directories by 1966.
