South Texas Lumber Company

An advertisement in the Liberty Vindicator on October 3, 1902, announced that the South Texas Lumber Company had a sawmill and planing mill at Wallisville. The company reported that it wanted to buy pine, ash, and cypress logs.
South Texas Lumber was normally the merchandising end for the West Lumber Company. It probably had a contract for one the local mills to buy and market its manufactures.
