F. Waldron

The F. Waldron mill at Longview was listed in a Chicago lumber directory in 1880. He also owned a sawmill in 1880 at Hallville, in Harrison County.
Waldron either took a mortgage with T. A. Moore or tried to sell Moore the sawmill plant. Regardless, Waldron still had the mill in 1884, for it was listed in a railroad directory in 1884. Documents of the deal with Moore reveal that the sawmill was located on 330 acres one mile north of the Sabine River. Equipment included three steam engines, two boilers, the sawmill, a grist mill, a shingle mill, and a drag saw.
