Angelina County records note that C. A. Moore and E. F. Dunlap owned and operated a tie mill at Fairchild's Switch, four miles south of Lufkin, on the tracks of the Houston East & West Texas. Indebtedness and creditors forced a sheriff's sale in 1913.
