W. J. Bridges

The Bridges plant was listed in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1905 and the 1907 listing.
This may be the William Bridges in 1907 who executed a mortgage with Dilley & Son of Palestine. It was recorded in the Cherokee County chattel mortgage registers. For $1,000, Bridges pledged a boiler, an engine, an edger, a sawmill, a mandrel, and 50-feet of belting. Another mortgage was registered in July, 1909, with a W. M. Bridges mortgaging to Dilley for $245, pledging an edger, a mandrel, and a grinder.
