B. Troutham was reported by the Southern Industrial and Lumber Review to be cutting 8,000 feet of lumber daily at Jacksonville in 1906.
On February 8, 1907, B. F. Trantham and S. J. Trantham executed mortgages with Dilley & Son for $350 and $376, respectively. B. F. Trantham mortgaged for a boiler, a stock of orchard boxes, a set of grates, and an engine. S. J. Trantham mortgaged for a D sawmill, a saw, a dolly, and one saw swage.
On June 29, 1907, B. F. Trantham and S. J. Trantham executed mortgages with Dilley & Son for $160 for a Curtis Co Dixie edger.
In 1909, Frank Sanders mortgaged for $1,250 to B. F. Sanders a steam engine, a boiler, a sawmill, a shingle mill, and all fixtures. That June, Sanders had mortgaged to Jacksonville State Bank a log wagon and thirteen oxen for $413.
B. F. Trantham on February 191, 1912, mortgaged for $402 to the First National Bank of Jacksonville his sawmill, two mules, six oxen, a house, and two wagons.
