Research notes by W. T. Block state that William Valbehr was a logger. On March 31 and April 2, 1913, he mortgaged to Guaranty State Bank at Lufkin ($500) and W. A. Balmorgan ($400), respectively, “to each 1,000,000 scaled feet of ash logs.”
