J. L. Kennedy and W. L. Thomas

J. L. Kennedy mortgaged in 1909 to the Farmer Merchants State Bank for $212 for $75,000 feet of lumber and fifteen oxen. J. L. Kennedy mortgaged in 1909 to the First National Bank for $300, pledging 25,000 feet of lumber, a log wagon, and eight oxen. By 1910, Kennedy was partnered with W. L. Thomas: they, on September 15, 1910, mortgaged to G. S. Huston for $250 a steam engine. In December of 1910, W. L. Thomas on December 12, 1910, mortgaged to J. L. Bailey for $96 “all lumber in attached mortgage.”
