Phillips Lumber Company
The Phillips Lumber Company at Jacksonville was included in Nelson Samson's 1957 edition of Directory of Wood-Using and Related Industries in East Texas. The company was owned by Wallace A. Phillips, according to the Directory of Texas Manufacturers 1956-1958, which reported that the company had been established in 1952. In 1957, more than twenty-workers were employed.
