Landis Turpentine Company
The turpentine and resin camp of Landis Turpentine Company near Sour Lake, where it had been for some time, was closed for good in January 1909. E. M. and Crawford Pringle, who had directed operations, moved on to Louisiana with the company to run another turpentine operation.
