Stovall's Mill
M. E. Rucker, in 1908, mortgaged to Farmers & Merchants State Bank for $9500 the following property and equipment: 1- a sawmill fixtures known as the Singletary and Huddleston mill; 2- a saw and planing mill at a location known as Stovall's mill; 3- and another planing mill, four log wagons, one mule team, six oxen, and 1,000,000 feet of lumber.
T. J. and F. J. Stovall on October 5, 1912, executed three mortgages to the First National Bank at Rusk for $459, $1236, and $662 on a sawmill, a planer-matcher, $2.00 per thousand feet of lumber, twenty hogs, forty oxen, and three mules and horses.
