T. Hunger son (or Ferguson)
T. Hungerson operated a water-powered saw and grist mill in Cherokee County during the census year ending June 1, 1850. Raw materials included 4,000 bushels of grain valued $2,500 and 500 logs valued $250. During that time he manufactured 12,500 feet of “plank” (valued at $1562), and 5,000 bushels of meal (valued at $3,125). He employed five men, each making $20 monthly. His mill was valued at $2500.
