Mark C. Lively
M. C. Lively operated a sawmill near Linden about 1880. He either dismantled his mill at Linden and moved it to Atlanta or built a new mill at the latter location. Atlanta, according to the Handbook of Texas, was established on the Texas and Pacific route about 1872. By 1890 it had a population of 1,794.
