North Texas Lumber Company
North Texas Lumber Company had a sawmill at Linden. It is known that the majority, if not all, the timber supplied to this mill came from Cass County and was shared with the other North Texas Lumber Company mill, at Kildare, and the Clark and Boice mill at Jefferson. The Gulf Coast Lumberman reported in June, 1915, that the North Texas Lumber mill at Kildare had closed and that the mill at Linden was expected to cut out in the next sixty days.
