W. A. Douglass

W. A. Douglass' sawmill appeared in the Rand, McNally and Company's Directory and Shipping Guide of Lumber Mills and Lumber Dealers in 1884, and in the January 1905 and 1907 editions of the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association. In 1884, he also had a lumber concern at Lasater, Marion County, which may have been either a logging operation or a retail yard.
This probably the W. L. Douglas that Fred McKenzie refers to in his work as sawmilling in the greater Mims Chapel area.
