A S Hall Planing Mill
A. S. Hall ran a major planing mill at Montgomery about 1900. The (Galveston) Daily News reported in October 1896 that this “mill is running regularly and receives the cut of half a dozen mills.” A. Asplet, formerly with J. A. Bentley & Co, was managing the mill in 1896.
