E. A. Oualline & Bro

The sheriff sold the Smiths' mill to Oualline on August 4, 1903. Among items were the mill, a shed, carriage, head block, belts and tools sold at the sheriff's sale. E. A. Oualline & Brother sold to D. C. Tharp and Banks Griffith of F. A. Talley at Keenan all lumber on hand to be manufactured in the next months. On August 23, 1905, Ellis A. Oualline sold his 1/4 interest in the profits of the family-owned box factory in return for 142 acres owned by his parents, Edward N. and Mary Jo Oualline. Edward N. and Mary Jo Oualline conveyed the 1/4 interest to their son John M. Oualline on the same date. The Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1907 listed the mill.
