Frank and his brother Peter are listed in the 1880 Census as owning mills in Montgomery County. Frank employed twenty-five workers. The brothers later owned mills at Josserand and Westville, Trinity County. The brothers shared a tram engine and tram cars, which they later sold to J. A. Hays and Webb of Walker County.
