Grogan Manufacturing Company

The Montgomery County History notes that Grogan Manufacturing Company were operating at Grand Lake Switch in 1917. This operation would have been short lived as the company incorporated that year into the Grogan-Cochran Lumber Company. By the following year, the company was either constructing or building sawmill complexes at Conroe and Tamina, three miles further south of the Switch, and would later own mills at Magnolia and Cowl Spur.
