Sam Miles Lumber Company
The Sam Miles Lumber Company appeared in the 1957 edition of Nelson T. Samson's Directory of Wood-Using and Related Industries in East Texas. The sawmill produced pine lumber. According to the Directory of Texas Manufacturers 1956-1958, Miles had been operating since 1928 and was producing rough and dressed lumber and timber with less than twenty-five employees.
