Nacogdoches Lumber & Crate Company

The newspaper noted in December 1901 that a box factory would be built in Nacogdoches on South Fredonia at the Houston East and West Texas railroad crossing. Frank Bridwell had purchased in Birmingham, Alabama, machinery for the new box factory, which would be operating very soon. J. G. Bowls owned the company by September 1903.
The company was listed as Nacogdoches Crate & Lumber Company in 1905. The 1907 Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association listed it at Nacogdoches.
