T. W. (F. W.) Duncan Mill

T. W. Duncan contracted with L. C. Bailey and J. B. Carlton in January 1903 to erect a sawmill on land two miles northwest of Appleby. Duncan transferred title to Bailey & Carlton in October, 1903, but soon regained title. The T. W. Duncan sawmill at Appleby was listed in the Southern Industrial and Lumber Review in September, 1906, as cutting 20,000 feet daily. The mill was located on eight acres of the Albert Emmanuel Grant.
