A. V. Donegan

The Matlock mill was originally situated at Linn Flat, about two miles north of Linn Flat. The Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1907, reported that it was at Trawick. Matlock, however, had his mark witnessed and sold his sawmill to A. Y. Donegan for $1,300 in September, 1905. The following February, Donegan sold the mill to Bowden Lumber Company, located about three and a half miles from Linn Flat. Bowden Lumber Company became Bowden-Meador Lumber Company, and the plant was apparently moved to Libby.
