F. W. Ward

The F. W. Ward sawmill was located near Hallsville about 1900. In 1906, he mortgaged milled lumber to Harrison & Davidson, which was stacked next to the Texas & Pacific tracks at Root's planer. He secured a mortgage with a gang edger and iron sets for lumber dollies on May 25, 1906. In June, a contract Ward signed sending all of his cut to Root's planing mill for finishing revealed that Ward's mill was located three and a half miles northeast of Hallsville. In September, 1906, Ward mortgaged for planing mill machinery.
The LCA carried a listing for F. W. Ward in 1907.
