Clem Jacobs

A local newspaper from Nacogdoches reported that “Mrs. R. H. Lee has moved her place to Wallace Grove. Mr. Jacobs is putting up a larger sawmill near Wallace Grove.” Mrs. Lee was the spouse of Robert Howard Lee, of Nacogdoches, who owned several sawmills in the county from about 1890 to 1908. Wallace is a family surname normally associated with the Cushing and Trawick areas in the northwestern part of Nacogdoches County.
