Joe Adone had a small sawmill near LaNana Station before 1900 in Nacogdoches County. J. J. Bonner Timber Co bought it in 1900. The plant had a small three-quarter of a mile tram for switching cars from the mill onto the tracks of the Houston East & West Texas.
