The Beaumont Journal referred to the large mill of S. F. Bacom three miles south of Sacul. It was not listed in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1905 or the “Lumber Mills of Texas,” Southern Industrial & Lumber Review, September 6,1906 issues. It was not listed in the 1907 edition of the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association.
