Southern Mills Company

Morrison and McLendon, who had sawmill interests near Caro and Cushing, had their planer located at Dalmont, about two miles from Dalmont Station next to the tracks of the Texas and New Orleans Railroad. In September, 1906, the firm was selling its dressed lumber to Southern Mills Company of J. H. Summers. Later that month, Morrison and McLendon sold the planer at Dalmont to Southern Mills Company.
