T. C. Glover

T. C. Glover ran a 24-horsepower steam sawmill in Nacogdoches County during the census year ending May 31, 1880. Glover had $2500 invested in the mill, and he employed eight hands (five children under sixteen years old) throughout the year. Ten hour days were normal, and wages ranged from $0.75 to $3.50 per day. Glover did all his own logging.
