W. H. Duncan

W. H. Duncan had a sawmill outfit in Nacogdoches County. In 1925, he rented it to D. L. Parmley for $15 a month. The equipment consisted of a 4-horsepower gasoline engine, a portable boiler, a circular saw, a cut-off saw, a slab bench, and two lumber buggies. Parmley's own equipment consisted of a 10-inch by 14-inch steam engine, an Enterprise portable boiler, a sawmill carriage, blacksmith tools, etc.
