William Fleming Daniel
The planing mill for the various lumber operations in Nacogdoches County by William Fleming Daniel and Awtrey Fleming Daniel was located at Cushing along the tracks of the Texas & New Orleans. In 1923, H. J. Musick, from a Cherokee County lumber-owning family, wrote his agent requesting a proposed lease on the Daniel Lumber Company lumber yard at Cushing.
