Grubbs and Parker

This mill was first reported in 1897 as a portable mill which was owned and operated by Giles and Singletary, four miles south of Call Station, on the Gulf, Beaumont and Kansas City railroad. (This location would have placed the mill in Jasper County). Giles and Singletary sold the mill to Grubbs and Parker in February 1897. The mill was moved by the new owners to Princeton Bluff in Newton County.
