W. D. Street
W. D. Street operated a “floating saw mill” for cutting timber for the construction of his mill located on the Sabine River, according to the American Lumberman, noting that it was harvesting cypress and pine timber. Earlier that year, the AL had reported that floating sawmills were going to be built from yellow pine logged out of Stephenson's Bluff on the Sabine. The barges were going to be made from lumber milled by Brice at the Bluff.
