They employed three men in the saw mill to whom they paid a total annual wage of $1,000 over twelve months, and two men at the grist mill whom they paid $500 in the same period. The saw mill manufactured 234,000 feet of lumber valued at $3,850, and the grist mill produced a value of $2,250.
