J. H. and T. J. Wooten
J. H. and T. J. Wooten operated a sawmill and general store from about 1890 to 1900 in Panola County. It was located about five miles southwest of De Berry; they gave the community the name of Tacoma after Tacoma, Washington. T. J. Wooten was the postmaster at Wooten from 1901 to 1916.
