O. O. Forsyth was operating a sawmill at Beckville in 1921. C. E. Blalock slapped a labor lien on Forsyth's mill over a wage dispute. Blalock was supposed to receive, according to Blalock, $3.00 a day plus board and claimed that Forsyth had not paid him as he should.
