Smith-Cicero Lumber Company

The firm of Smith-Cicero appeared in the January 1905 Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association as a manufacturer of lumber at Boren. They also ran a general store there and apparently operated lumber yards at Decatur, Wise County, and Fort Worth, Tarrant County.
This is probably the Smith mill referred to in a Nacogdoches newspaper account of 1900. The report located the mill about five miles from Boren.
