In 1907, a Carlisle-Pennel mill appeared at Livingston, according to the LCA. The major mill for the company was at Onalaska, about seventeen miles distant. The company may have bought the E. M. Wood plant, which had been cutting 40,000 feet daily in 1906 at Livingston.
