Fred Grimes & Son Lumber Company
Fred Grimes, of Goodrich, had a small sawmilling and logging operation in Polk County, which he mortgaged, in 1946, to the Citizens State Bank at Corrigan. In 1966, the operation was still operating with less than ten employees. The Directory of Texas Manufacturers 1956-1958 listed the Fred Grimes sawmill and planing mill at Livingston.
