Oney Brothers
The Oney Brothers (John, William, and W. E. and R.) mill was located about twenty miles northwest of Marshall in 1906. Beginning in May, they bought a steam boiler, saws , and an edger for $520. They next month they got a circular saw and were in business. By December, they were selling sizable amounts of milled lumber.
