Parrish Lumber Company

The Parrish Tie and Lumber Company had been operating at Corrigan before 1966, producing rough and dressed lumber and crossties. The plant grew, and by 1990, it was producing annually a million board feet. By 1993, its equipment included a debarker, a headrig, an edger, a resaw, and a trimmer. It was producing select and common boards, railroad ties, fence material, furniture dimension, railcar stock.
It is rated at 20,000 feet daily capacity, with its sawtimber being drawn from more than 2,200 acres of timberland. It also has a remanufacturing plant.
