Sabine Lumber Company

Ownership was J. W. Ferguson, president; J. D. Ferguson, vice president and secretary; J. W. Reynolds, 2nd vice president; J. P. Towery, treasurer; and W. J. Yardley, sales manager. The Sabine Lumber Company served as sales agents for the Texas Long Leaf Lumber Company, Trinity. Mills served by Sabine Lumber Company included the Texas Long Leaf mills at Trinity, Oakhurst, and New Willard, and the King Creek mill at New Willard. Sabine Lumber Company was also associated in some capacity with mills at Sour Lake and Honey Island.
This is the same Sabine Lumber Company that appeared on a list of creditors of the Clay Lumber Company in 1931.
E. L. Kurth and company would later buy out the Sabine Lumber and Texas Long Leaf Lumber companies.
