F. L. Green Saw Mill
F. L. Green Saw Mill could saw almost anything: pine, white and red oak, soft maple, gum, basswood, rock and soft elm, white and brown ash, hickory, cottonwood, sycamore, and walnut. The sawmill at Annona, Red River County, appeared in a 1915 directory of sawmills. The mill was rated at 10,000 feet per day, and its specialties were ties and shingles.
